The Moon

Abby and I were outside at her swing. She points to the sky and says "What's that?" I look and see the moon. I said "That's the moon." "The moon," she says. Then she says "I love moon. I want hold it." Oh great. How do you explain to a toddler that you can't give her the moon. She told me over and over again about how she loves the moon and then tried to run to touch it. "I touch it. Where it go?" It was behind the trees. So I told Dad tonight, all your daughter wants is the moon. I told her that maybe someday she'd go see the moon. Why not set the expectations of life high?

I have searched on Google and have found no place to buy her the moon. We can always try to get her in the astronaut program though. Tell her dad tried.

I love ya both,

Dad
