The kids with Yukon

Man so much has happened since the grandparents were here. Dad came home and then my sister and her family came from CA for a visit. We really enjoyed them. Abby new how to hold her own with Tucker and Katrina. I can see my daughter is a little bit of a bully. They slept in her room and of course she was the one keeping everyone up.
We went 4 wheeling, fishing, walking, and had a camp out. Auntie Carmen and Uncle Daryl were even nice enough to watch our kids while Dad and I went out to eat and watch a comedian concert. It was great. We also went to the local nature center and made it to the capitol. Oh yeah and the guys did some target practice. I took Dwyer to the doctor for his two week visit. He is 22 1/4 inches long and 12 lbs. 3 oz. Carmen also helped me switch him into his 3-6 month clothes. I can't believe where time is going. My baby is not a newborn anymore.
Everyone seemed to be mending from sicknesses but seemed to be better by the time they flew back. Now I'm just getting some laundry done and jerky made. Trying to make room for deer season.

I thought this video was cute and had to share. We are getting better. Just runny noses and coughing at night but feel pretty good during the day.

I have been trying to potty train Abby the past few days. Everytime she goes potty she gets to watch an episode of Winnie the Pooh. I didn't know if it was really working until tonight. I said it was time to go to bed and she asked to watch Pooh. I said no. So she proceded to go to the bathroom and poop in the potty. I was so proud and allowed her to stay up to watch Pooh. Poo for Pooh. One less diaper I have to change and the stinky ones to boot. I think she has me figured out though.

Enjoying the grandparents

Just want to thank my parents for coming down and helping out the past 2 weeks. It was good to see you. We were fed well and taken care of. We have a viral croup (doctor's terms). We are doing better and surviving. We just don't plan to get out much. We can't wait for Dad and Mom's sister and family to come. I enjoyed watching Dad feed Abby an ice cream cone. Poor Dad didn't get much with Abby by his side.

More in Iowa

I got to love the baby smiles. He did it first for grandpa and now we are seeing it more each day. He even smiles at his sister but she is too busy to notice.

Let the messes begin.

Let me explain the picture in our bedroom. Since we had Abby's furniture delivered, I let her sleep in our bedroom. When I came back an hour or so later this is what I found. She hadn't taken a nap instead she emptied the kleenex box and diaper wipe box. I found kleenex in the diaper wipe box and the bear was draped with diaper wipes. Crazy kid. She also ate my tomatoes right off the plant. The green ones weren't as good. There is also a picture of Abby cleaning out the pumpkin since grandma made us fresh pumpkin pie.

Abby's new bed

Thought I'd send out some pictures of Dwyer and grandparents that are visiting. We also finally got Abby's new bed. We ordered in May and it has finally arrived. I weighed Dwyer today and he was 11 lbs. My little boy is growing. Grandpa says he's changed just in the past week they have been here. The grandparents have helped alot with meals, housecleaning and entertainment for the kids. It's been nice to have them when I needed to get bloodwork done and go get a cavity filled.
