Here miss Abby running around. She was too busy running and laughing to talk to her dad tonight. She was a bit of a handful today. She took all clothes and diaper off at nap time and peed in the pack and play. I think Muranda is ready for her to be potty trained if this is going to keep happening. I was also frusturated in traffic today and growled. Abby started laughing in the backseat. I started laughing too. We are happy to have our power back on (we lost in again Monday night to Thursday). Not everything survived in the refrigerator. I think we will try to keep up on sleep this weekend. Thanks to Muranda and Caleb for giving us a place to sleep and Charles for keeping the fire going at home.

Ice Storm 2007

No work today. Boss called and said don't come in. We have the ice storm going through. I am glad Charles is here. We had power go out sometime in the middle of the night Saturday and was out until 9 pm yesterday. The temperature got down to 61 degrees in the house. Kind of chilly. We also lost phone coverage for a little while last night as well. We are up and running today but they expect some more freezing rain today and tomorrow so we are getting prepared for another outage. Caleb is over help cut wood because they still don't have power at their house. It's crazy to go outside and hear branches breaking one after another. I am glad Matt said to get rid of all the trees around the house. Looks like he knew what he was talking about. We have moved the vehicles so they don't get hit either. Cell phone coverage isn't the best in the house so don't be too alarmed if you can't get through to us. This is the life out in the country. Abby wasn't to sure about eating by candelite last night. I realized this morning how bad I did at cleaning her face after supper last night.

Abby is playing with the hamper again. She has been vomiting last night and today. She seems to play fine but not eating much. At least she is keeping some liquids in her. Poor kid. The parade was postponed or canceled today because of freezing rain. We went at saw a toy train display at the local hotel. We will see how everyone feels tomorrow before we venture out. She has two marks of her forehead where she hit her head on the back feet of a recliner. I think that was her 4th injury to the head this week. She is a little to adventurous for my liking.

Abby plays with her bike. Not in the way I wish she would but she insists on doing this whether you are looking or not. We had a normal Monday. Back to work and home again. A child at the sitter's was throwing up. Hope it wasn't contagious. I had an employee go home because of throwing up as well. Not fun. We are healthy though.

Abby "helped" me with putting up the tree today. OK so she just took the oranments off. She dropped three that had to be super glued back together. So most of the ornaments are at the top of the tree and the ones at the bottom are just laying on the branches. We went to a downtown celebration outside Friday night. Some friends asked if I was cold because was 36. No you chase a toddler around outside and see if you get cold. Then Saturday we went to a children's program.

Abby went to the bathroom today and said "pee pee" so we went in. She sat on the potty and then got up and ran off. I went to grap a diaper and went over to her and she was peeing on the floor. Well she did know she had to go, just need to her to use the potty next time.
