Abby and I had some girls over to watch a show. Abby did most of the entertaining. She loves to act like she wants to be picked up. When you go to reach for her, she turns away. What a stinker. She has also taken to jumping in her bed or at least that is what it sounds like. I can't catch her in the act because she is supposed to be going to sleep. If I peek in the door and she catches me, no sleeping for her. Her hair is getting long enough to put in a ponytail. Well just barely. I am trying to get her used to have her hair messed with. It has been easier than trying to brush her teeth.

Abby and I went shopping yesterday. She did really good since we were in Walmart for over an hour. She didn't want to take her afternoon nap though. Oh well. She was having fun with the laundry basket yesterday. I guess you could say she was helping me unfold the laundry. Abby enjoyed feeding Yukon her lunch yesterday. That was more fun than eating it herself. I see the habits starting now.

Well we made it to the end of the week. Abby is having a hard time going to sleep tonight. We have been having some hot weather here. It is in the 90s. We got Applebee's curbside to go one night this week. That was good. Abby is trying to run.

Abby enjoyed having the dog chase after her today. She realized that if she had the dog bone, Yukon would follow her around and it thrilled her to death. She is getting much practice at chasing after the kids at the sitter's. We enjoyed a trip to the library, shopping and swimming at the Y this weekend. She went to bed around 7 pm each night. That worked for me.

Abby loves the licorice and standing on the fireplace. What a mess she can make. She makes me nervous on the fireplace but she is getting a personality and demands to be up there. I guess I am just not willing to fight this battle. I'll say it for the no eating dog food. We went for a walk this evening since we almost got to 90 during the day.

I put the shoes on Abby and we had an adventure walking on the driveway. You don't realize how bumpy it is until you get a little person trying to walk on it. Those puddles are like mountains to her. She got a good taste of leaves, dirt, and rocks. I let Abby play with her yogurt. Only a little of it made it to her mouth. After the dirt and yogurt, Abby took a bath to undo the dirtiness.

Today we took a walk and went to the store. Not too much of an adventure. It was rainy most of the day. Abby and I slept in until 8 after I brought her to bed with me at 6. She can more around in her sleep. Good thing she is still in a crib. Abby didn't want to take her afternoon nap or go to bed tonight. I think she is more like her dad that he thinks.

Abby and I made it to the pool today. She lasted over an hour. I think I got just as much of a workout as she did. She thought she was steady enough to walk around the pool. She liked the other kids at the pool as well. We also got some awesome deals garage saling. Did some laundry and had some shrimp scampi for supper.

Yeah it's Friday. Abby and I are going to take Yukon to the vet tomorrow. Get her yearly shots. We hope to go swimming and garage saling as well. We'll see how the weather is and how motivated we are. We took a walk with the pup to take pictures of the property for dad.

Abby is healing good from her fall on the coffee table. She had a rough past couple of days. I think her molars might be coming in. Today Abby was back to her happy self so that was good. Not much crawling going on these days. She also hasn't been eating much baby food either. She likes that big people food. She had cheese, chicken and avocados with me tonight. I had a salad but she never swallows lettuce so I didn't try. She also likes cocoa puffs.

Abby got to go swimming today. I went to work. Man I wish I was a kid.

Today we took Squirt to the vet for his annual shots. Abby was very curious and wanted to poke Squirt while in his carrier. Poor cat. We made to a couple stores to go shopping as well. Abby's getting better each day and this walking. She likes to push her new bike around but not ride it. Thanks to Auntie Carmen and family for it.

Well she is walking about 50% of the time now. And with walking comes her first good boo boo. She fell at the sitter's and hit her cheekbone on the coffee table. It is swollen under her left eye with a little scratch. I had to go check on her but everything was good. Poor little thing. I do like how she looks like a monkey when she walks. Have also continued imitating sounds with her like straining and growling. It cracks me up. I found out she really likes meatballs. She had six tonight for supper. She really likes them. I barely had any for myself. Just kidding.
