Abby and I decided not to take it easy this weekend and went to St. Louis. We enjoyed a halloween party and JB and Addie and then went downtown to celebrate the Cardinal's winning the World Series. Abby enjoyed seeing her cousins, aunt and uncle. She did really good at the Cardinal celebration even when it was very loud. Abby has pretty much gotten over her cold. I am still working on getting over mine. I can't complain because I didn't stay home and rest. I went back to work as usual and Abby to the sitter. She cried most of the way home yesterday. That was hard for me. I think she didn't get enough sleep during the day and with the time change was ready to go to sleep but didn't want to be in a car seat. I think we got everything worked out today though.

This week has been crazy. I received the cold, pink eye and ear infection as well. It is not so easy taking care of a little one with a fever. I finally went to the doctor today and got on antibiotics for my ear infection. I got to use Abby's eye drops for the pink eye and we are both clear from that. Abby has gotten to really enjoy the toy in the picture above. She is grabbing the ball and tries to pull the fish off. And she has started vibrating her lips together today and all the spit comes down the chin. She has also started holding a burp cloth up by her face while she sucks her thumb. It is cute to watch. We have had a lot of rain this week and but the Cardinals are pulling through for us. Yukon has been wondering why I am not as active. Poor puppy. Hopefully she won't be too bad.

Abby and I have been pretty busy. We entertained Steph at our house last night. That was fun. Tonight we enjoyed Steph again and went to shop and out to eat. We ate at Old Chicago, a pizza place. It was good. Abby seems to have a stuffy nose tonight and is whimping in her bed right now. Hopefully tonight goes well. Go Cardinals.

Well here is the gang. We are enjoying some sports today. We are rooting for Missouri in college football and the Cardinals in baseball. We went and got lunch today and made a trip to Petco to get the dog and cat some treats. It has been cool here the past couple days. The leaves are changing to the beautiful fall colors. I have another three day weekend because the sitter is still on vacation. Dad will be at the Cardinal's game on Sunday and Monday so look for him in the stands. Abby is still enjoying putting everything into her mouth. Anything she can get those hands on.

The last week as went by fast. Let's see what happened. I had a three day weekend and got some errands ran and hung out with Dad, grandpa and Abby. Dad has been watching Abby this week and been doing really good. Abby gets so tickled by her Dad. She follows him around the room and laughs at everything he has to say. She has really gotten the hang of her jumperoo and loves jumping. She also rolled over for the first time. Pretty exciting.

We have had all kinds of company. Grandpa has been down since Monday and Grandma came Tuesday for a night. I have been trying to get used to being back at work. When work got a little stressful I felt stressed out but cried and today was better. Abby went to bed earlier tonight. I guess since I wake her up in the morning she has been wanting to go to sleep earlier. All these things that Dad and I are trying to figure out. She really loves her "Jumperoo" now that she is getting the hang of it. As you can see she is enjoying entertaining her Dad. Or maybe it's the other way around. Abby has also had me in constant check of my diet. She was fussy the last couple night and we can't figure out what it is. Maybe it is a combination of the new routine, not having warm enough PJs, wanting to go to bed earlier or who knows what else. But today was a good day and we'll end it at that.
